Hungarian success in the ranking of the world’s best wineries: Szepsy Cellar is in 43rd place
The World’s Best Vineyards ranking was also published in 2024, presenting the year’s 50 most outstanding wineries worldwide. This year, the list also lists those wineries that offer a special experience to their visitors and play a significant role in popularizing the culture of wine. Szepsy Cellar, located in the Tokaj wine region, the pride of Hungary, finished in 43rd place.
At the top of the ranking is the Spanish Marqués de Riscal, which deservedly earned the first place with its innovative solutions and special wines. Vik Winery from Chile took second place, while Creation Winery from the Republic of South Africa took third place.
The ranking of Szepsy Cellar is another recognition for Hungary in the international wine world. The winery is known not only for its commitment to the famous Tokaj wines, but also for its combination of quality, tradition and innovation, with which it has earned worldwide recognition. By being ranked, Szepsy Cellar further strengthens Hungary’s place on the world wine map and draws attention to the unique values of the Tokaj wine region.
Each year, the World’s Best Vineyards list honors wineries that offer exceptional quality, hospitality and a unique atmosphere. The 2024 ranking is a guideline not only for the wine industry, but also for the general public interested in wine, presenting the world’s most exciting wine regions and wineries.
