The National Chamber of Agriculture and Food advises consumers that if they want to buy good quality pork, they should look for Hungarian meat products in stores.

As a result of price increases, pork consumption in our country decreased throughout the year, but as the end-of-year holidays approached, sales increased this year as well, as in previous years. According to the National Chamber of Agriculture and Food, butchers sell three times as much pork in December, especially in the second half of the month, than in other months. Although Christmas is often associated with fish dishes, many families also eat seasonal dishes, in which pork is an important ingredient.
