Hungarian platinum medals at the Decanter World Wine Awards
The wines of four Hungarian wineries – Figula, Kreinbacher, Sauska Tokaj and Szent Tamás – also won platinum medals at this year’s Decanter World Wine Awards (DWWA) in London, where the Hungarian producers also won four gold medals.
The wines of the Hungarian producers received additional 22 silver and 24 bronze medals.
The Decanter World Wine Awards is one of the biggest and most prestigious international competition. This year, a total of 16,903 wines and champagnes were juried from 61 countries. Hungary represented itself with 70 wines. (MTI)
