Hungarian paprika in Japan
Hungarian peppers are grown in Szolnok’s Japanese twin town: in Yuza. The vicinity of the town became an important pepper-growing area within the country, so there is a chance that the Hungarian-Japanese vegetables will get large attention in Japan.
Japan has become an important paprika-growing place. Local professionals are often sent to Hungary, who are returning to their country enriched with essential experiences to continue pepper production. It is true, that the Hungarian pepper is not so sought in Japan, Dutch vegetables are more common, but Hungarian experts hoping that the project will increase exports, because if the Japanese become acquainted with their own grown paprika, it is possible, that they want to meet the original Hungarian product – reports szabadfold.hu., after vnegyed.hu.
