The Easter was greeted with giant ham-cutting at the Fair of Hungarian Flavors
In addition to the traditional goodies, real festive specialties also appeared in the range of the Easter Fair of Hungarian Flavors, where 100 domestic small producers showcased their products from original sources during the weekend. Also great interest surrounded the creative solutions, such as jewel hidden in Easter chocolate eggs.
The domestic population consumes, about 25 percent of the annual ham volume during Easter. This means approximately 6,000 tonnes. Such events enable to showcase the products of the producers, to provide an excellent opportunity to put foods from clean sources to the festive table – Daróczi László, Executive Director of the Agricultural Marketing Center highlighted at the Easter Fair of Hungarian Flavors on Saturday morning.
