More than half of the Hungarian households are unable to save
Less than half of Hungarian households can save some minimal amount of money and most of them are afraid of unexpected living situations. Young Hungarians are mainly collecting for their own home and keep their money in cash – penzcentrum.hu wrote.
Based on the most recent representative survey of the OVB Hungary and the NRC Market Research, one the most popular savings target is saving for housing – Magyar Nemzet wrote. According to the survey, the financial illiteracy of Hungarian families is shown by the fact that one-third of the households simply parking these savings on their bank account, although they have little interest in the current low interest rate environment.
