The circular economic model is also popular among the Hungarian companies
Waste is not only an environmental problem but also an economic one, so the linear economic model should be transformed into a circular economy based on a circular process – Kriza Máté, president of the Circumcision Economy Foundation told M1 news channel. He explained that the circular economic model is spreading among the Hungarian companies as well.
The linear economy loses a lot of raw material because the products are thrown away after use, and the circular economy has not only environmentally but economically benefits, he explained.
He added: the recycling of waste can also prevent the pollution of the environment and the loss of valuable minerals. He mentioned mobile phones as an example, which could be recycled so that no new raw materials could be extracted. (MTI)
