Nine award-winning Hungarian wines to debut at Tesco’s Central European wine festival
Tesco exported 20 000 bottles of award-winning Hungarian wines for its September wine festival to its Czech, Polish and Slovakian department stores. The wines won “Best Buy” recognition at the Hungarian Wine Muster last year.
This is a great opportunity to the award-winning wineries that can present their wines to the Central European customers as well. The company aims to popularize the Hungarian wines on region level as well. Tesco as Hungary's largest wine dealer last year sold about 22.5 million bottles of wine in Hungary.
