Hungarian wine to receive prestigious international award
He won a gold medal at the Eurasian Wine and Distillate Competition (EAWSC) in Moscow, the furmint aszú of the 2013 King of Mád Demetervin Winery.
The competition was organized in cooperation with the International Organization of Vine and Wine (OIV) and according to its rules at the All Russian Exhibition Centre (VDNH) in Moscow between 13 and 15 April. The jury consisted of renowned international experts who judged me with a 100-point system of blind tasting. Only 30 percent of the wines entered for the competition were awarded, and only a large gold medal was awarded, one of which was won by the Tokaj aszú of the Mád winery, said Demetervin Winery.
