Hungarian investor sells retail park in Spain
Hungarian-owned GESTOR REAL ESTATE has successfully sold the Mazarrón Park retail complex in Spain to French real estate fund Epsilon 360° SCPI in an off-market transaction.
The centre, located on the Costa Cálida, was developed by Barcelona-based ACTIV GROUP in 2018 and acquired by GESTOR four years ago during the Covid crisis.
Mazarrón Park is in an excellent location, close to the AP7 motorway, next to the local roundabout and close to stores of well-known chain such as Mercadona and Lidl. The complex consists of an ALDI store, a BP petrol station, a Burger King restaurant and a building housing several stores of popular brands. With 370 parking spaces and 100% occupancy, the park is an important destination for locals and tourists alike.
Mazarrón is an attractive tourist centre, welcoming more than a million visitors a year. The popularity and growth of the complex is due to the proximity of the beach and the seasonal tourism.
