The CEO of the Hétforrás Zrt. was given a Gold Cross of Merit of Hungary
On behalf of Hungarian President Áder János, Varga Mihály the Minister of National Economy handed over the Gold Cross of Merit of Hungary to Mersich Mátyás, CEO of the Hétforrás Zrt. on the occasion of the State Founder King Saint Stephen's Day on 20 August, as a recognition for his work in the transition and development of the domestic cooperative trade.
The Hétforrás Limited was founded on January 1, 1992 during the privatization of the Győr-based Kisalföld FÜSZÉRT company. Mersich Mátyás is the CEO of the company since then.
Mersich Mátyás, is committed to the continuous market development, which contributed to the fact that the corporation can be characterized by a strong and dynamic market behavior, which is reflected in the investment and in the developments as well.
The CEO assumed an initiative role in the structuring and development of the national COOP supermarket chain network from the beginnings. He has a significant role that the COOP network has become one of the largest trade association, which is able to hold a competition to the multinational companies.
