Magazine: It was a busy year!

In a letter sent out to members of the Guild of Hungarian Restaurateurs (MVI), president László Kovács summarised the most important achievements of 2016. He mentioned the negotiations with various ministries about trade education, VAT and tax issues. He listed the many competitions supported by MVI, e.g. the Gundel International Competition, the Bocuse d’Or, Euroskills.

MVI organised a major conference at the SIRHA trade show, covering 4 topics and inviting 26 speakers. The guild also prepared two important studies, one on the problems that need to be solved in the trade and another on the state of play in the hospitality sector. On the MVI website a list was also compiled with the most important rules and publications regulating the hospitality trade.
