Magazine: Roundtable discussion organised by BKIK
The Budapest Chamber of Commerce and Industry organised a roundtable discussion in February, inviting the representatives of the associations MVI, MNGSZ, VIMOSZ and VOSZ.
A second round of talks was organised in early April. Participants talked about the new VAT regulation and the representation expenses tax. They agreed that the preferential VAT rate should apply to all hospitality services and alcohol-free drinks. As regards the representation expenses tax, experts want the tax-free limit to be 2 percent of total sales value.
