A barista in Munich told the following story: ‘There is a type of guest that likes to explain in detail how to make the special drink he ordered. I am not annoyed by this, instead I tell them that the idea is really original and ask the guest to give it a name. I write the name of the drink and that of the guest on the board. They are sure to return – often with friends – to a place where their special drink can be found on the menu.’
