Magazine: As a sponsor in Lyon
Those who were there at the final of Bocuse d’Or in Lyon or watched the online broadcast will not forget the name Convotherm as the company was the main sponsor of the event, its logo was even placed on the chef hats. The managing director of Coninvest Kft., Convotherm’s distributor in Hungary was rooting for Tamás Széll in Lyon. He was impressed with the level of Convotherm’s presence in the final, even more so because the company doesn’t really use marketing tools to promote its products. He told our magazine that Tamás Széll could use the latest version of the combi steam oven in Hungary, but unfortunately in Lyon an earlier model was installed, on which the temperature has to be set not with the push of a button – this difference led to his mistake in the final.
