Magazine: Private labels have the advantage
About 30 percent of European grocery retail is realised by private label products – reported EuroCommerce and the European Retail Round Table. EuroCommerce director Christian Verschueren told: decision-makers shouldn’t look on PL products as some kind of unfair business practice. Shoppers turn to PL products with a positive attitude and they buy them regularly. PL products can add real value to satisfying consumer needs.
