Magazine: Optimised online retail
Brandbank’s latest service, Ecommerce Insight makes it possible for manufacturers to fully monitor and analyse the presence and performance of their brands in online shops. Brandbank can create the digital content that helps brands to get the quality presence that they need for realising online sales. In the last few years the annual sales growth was always above 10 percent in the online channel. Richard Járai, Brandbank’s head of product development talked to our magazine about the Ecommerce Insight service.
For instance manufacturers can use it to check whether online shops use the latest product photos and information. Another important thing is how the product appears after a keyword search. Mr Járai told that not only one’s own products can be monitored in Ecommerce Insight, but also those of other manufacturers. The data in the system can be researched from basically any perspective, and the results can be downloaded in an Excel spreadsheet format.
Ecommerce Insight is perfect for planning the launch of a new product or for controlling promotion campaigns while they are being implemented. The system was developed to be able to help both small businesses with only a few brands and multinational brands that manage several dozen products. They have different needs, though: Ecommerce Insight offers a comprehensive service to large companies that know the online world well, while small businesses can opt for having reports prepared for them, which are regularly e-mailed in PDF format. This way the same tool that assists large companies in their work becomes available to small players too. (x)
