Magazine: Walls telling a story
We can’t really believe that the age of wallpaper returns to restaurants, but the latest US trend is that the minimalist design of recent years has started to go out of fashion. Wallpaper with extravagant motifs can enhance the atmosphere of a place and redefine restaurant interiors. As famous Brooklyn-based designer, Yolande Batteau has said: restaurants’ task is to create experience and walls can play a role in this, as well-chosen decoration can tell a story.
