Magazine: ‘FRESH FROM THE WHOLESALE MARKET’
At the end of September 2015 Budapest Wholesale Market started its ‘Fresh from the Wholesale Market’ campaign. In just 1 month almost 100 Budapest greengrocers joined the programme, which collects those who purchase their fruits and vegetables from the freshest source, the Budapest Wholesale Market. These fruit and vegetable retailers can indicate their shop’s location on the map at the market’s website – www.nagybani.hu/map.php – so customers can find them more easily. What is more, they can put the ‘Fresh from the Wholesale Market’ sticker on their shop window, to inform customers that they only sell the freshest fruits and vegetables. A large number of small farmers sell their product at the Budapest Wholesale Market, therefore those greengrocers that buy here not only get top quality, fresh and tasty products, but also help Hungarian enterprises and farmers.
