Magazine: Hungarian roadshow in China
On 8 June the city of Ningbo hosted a meeting for economy/trade ministers from Central and Eastern Europe. The event was accompanied with several programmes organised by HITA and the Bank of China between 1 and 10 June in the form of a roadshow. More than 400 Chinese production and logistics firms sent their representatives to these forums. On 6 June state secretary for external economic relations and foreign affairs Péter Szijjártó presented the 170-page investment manual published by HITA and the Bank of China, which introduces the investment and business environment in Hungary in Chinese language. HITA and the Hungarian National Trading House Zrt. (MNKH) organised a trade exhibition between 8 and 11 June, to showcase products (from Hungary engineering services, renewable energy solutions, medical equipment, wines, pálinkas, spirits, groceries, household appliances) offered by countries in Central and Eastern Europe. The trade fair, held at the same time as the China International Consumer Goods Fair, attracted more than 50,000 visitors
