Magazine: Hungarian flavours in Cologne (Part 2)
General world trends – high quality, exciting flavours and quick preparation – were palpable in the products they brought. Krisztián Sándor Papp, sales director of PA-COMP Kft. told us that they are trying to enter the German market with the Wellnut product line, a ground walnut substitute with an excellent price-value ratio.
The representative of the 20-year-old family business added that Anuga is a great occasion to meet old partners and find new ones. DOMI Kft. brought its crushed garlic product line (plain, spiced for grilled meats and spiced for roast poultry), convenience products which make the preparation of meat easier. Managing director István Domonkos told Trade magazin that Anuga is the place where they establish connections – they see great opportunities in exporting. Mr Domonkos was happy to tell about the great demand for their innovative products at the trade fair. MIRELITE MIRSA Zrt.’s owner Dr József Losó informed us that presence at trade fairs was a key element of their business strategy. At the moment they sell frozen fruit and vegetable to 67 countries. The Szentkirályi Group was present at Anuga with its own stand for the fourth time. They are exporting to 45 countries and they save lots of time and energy by meeting 5-6 of their distributors a day at Anuga. It is needless to say that many potential business partners also visited their stand. n
