Magazine: A long and difficult process
Sága Foods is about to replace its 20-year-business management system with a new one, with the leadership of head of IT Gábor Takács. They would like to introduce a new system that is flexible and scalable – which is also cheaper to operate. The task is difficult and it will take a long time to complete. Mr Takács pays special attention to cloud-based distributed resource allocation and to big data in the process. He also thinks it is key to adopt technologies which are capable of increasing the company’s customer-oriented characteristic. The goal is to have access to customer feedback and to react to it instantly. Gábor Takács reckons it is very important for colleagues to be aware of all company processes – not just the ones they use in their daily work.
