Magazine: Interpack: 11 Hungarian exhibitors
After more than 20 years Hungarian packaging firms returned to Interpack with a collective stand (and there were another 3 companies with their own stands). Between 8 and 14 May 2,700 exhibitors and 175,000 trade visitors filled Messe Düsseldorf’s 19 halls to see what the companies had to offer. Among the most important themes of the trade fair we could find the efficient resource use of machinery and the optimal use of packaging material for guaranteeing good quality, safety and protection from counterfeiting products. Interpack and SAVE FOOD director Bernd Jablonowski told that the Innovation Park and the METAL PACKAGING PLAZA concepts were both great success. There were 450 participants at the 2nd SAVE FOOD congress, discussing possible solutions to the problem of food waste and presenting best practices. Organised by the Hungarian Association of Packaging and Materials Handling (CSAOSZ) and in part funded by HITA, Krajczár Kft., Mátrametál Kft., Pikopack Zrt., Reményi Csomagolástechnika Kft. and Rollbox Zrt. were there at Hungary’s collective stand, together with Flexo Innovation Cluster that represented 6 firms; HACONA Kft. Pro-Form Kft. and Mikropakk Kft. had their own stands. All Hungarian exhibitors were satisfied and plan to return in 3 years’ time; about 1,000 Hungarian trade visitors were registered at Interpack
