Swedish food supplier CT Food, which specialises in Asian food products, developed a smartphone app to educate fans of Asian food about dishes. People who take a picture of the dish they are eating in a restaurant and upload it to CT Food’s Instagram account receive details and information about the dish they are having, together with info on how they can get the ingredients from CT Food. A win-win situation: guests get special information and offers, while the company reaches a special market segment.
