Nestlé Hungária Kft. and Gasztro Terni Kft. organised their partner event on 18 September in Pécs. Gergely Bálint, head of the Nestlé Professional division welcomed the nearly 500 participants, and he talked about the role food industry companies should play in modern public service catering. Nestlé Hungária Kft.’s dietitian Bernadett Kiss-Tóth talked about the new public service catering regulation, which enters into force in January 2015. Dr Lajos Bíró introduced how NutriComp’s meal planning and analysing software can help the work of decision-makers in public service catering. Boglárka Tóth, marketing manager of the Nestlé Professional division presented the new Maggi Fresh Flavours product line: the three products – Bologna base, Chicken soup base, Celery cream soup – were put on the market in August and were developed with Hungarians’ taste in mind, plus they meet all requirements of modern public service catering. All of Nestlé Professional’s Maggi products, recommended recipes and energy and nutrient information are accessible via the NutriComp meal planning software. Chef Zsolt Serényi demonstrated with a cooking show how easy it is to cook delicious meals using products from the Maggi Fresh Flavours range. Participants had the chance to taste the dishes and compare them with products made by other manufacturers. The event ended with a buffet dinner where all the delicacies, were made using Maggi products.
