National Restaurant Association (USA) published the results of their 2013 study on the trends shaping fast food chains’ menus. Some trends that are worth being aware of: burgers are often made using pretzel dough, the popularity of wraps is growing, there are brave innovations such as waffle taco or cronut burger, excellent value for money offers are important, healthy food is gaining ground, breakfasts are served for longer hours.
