Magazine: Getting ready for the gala dinner I.
An event like this is a real challenge for me, where I can see new ideas and learn new things. I am the only one from the older generation who didn’t have to draw a pair from the younger generation, because confectionery is a separate domain inside the kitchen. I have known Zoltán Andrész for a while, he is a talented and ambitious young confectioner. We are going to update the famous Gundel pancake to make a 21st-century version. I cannot reveal any details yet because we have to experiment and taste first, to see how various flavours work out together.
