Magazine: MVI’s recommendations to Artisjus
The guild has made a few recommendations: instead of having to pay a flat rate, MVI would like bar and restaurant owners to be allowed to pay music royalties calculated from the net sales of food and drink – a different percentage based on how big the revenue is; another idea is the introduction of a fee that is based on the estimated number of guests. A music royalties calculator service should be launched on the Artisjus website for bar, restaurant and hotel owners.
