Independent stores in Walmart units

Walmart is the world’s number one retailer. With sales of USD 419 billion last year and 9,700 stores in 28 countries. This is why it is a significant step that the Walmart store in Viera, Florida initiated opening an independent flower shop on its premises. Previously several McDonald’s, Subway and financial service provider units opened in Walmart stores as part of the ‘stores-within-a-store’ concept, but this is the first time that the company brings in a competitor of its own products.
