K&H is starting to reduce its carbon footprint on its own
The European Commission is taking draconian measures to curb air pollution caused by internal combustion engines. And the European Parliament recently decided that after 2035 no more new cars equipped with internal combustion engines can be marketed in the 27 member states of the EU.
“The decision is controversial, but those who think responsibly about the future try to reduce their own carbon footprint”
– says Suba Levente, head of K&H’s sustainability project.
“The decision of the European Parliament was far from unanimous, it is not even considered a legal requirement, and it will certainly cause many more discussions and opposition. In any case, it indicates the direction towards which the decision-makers want to steer Europe”
