Bird Flu: A multi-stage compensation may come

The Poultry Product Council (BTT) estimates the damage arising from the outbreak of bird flu to 9-10 billion HUF – the organization told Világgazdaság.

The direct losses of farmers resulting from the slaughtering of animals and the destruction of the animal feed are about three billion HUF. 1.5-2 billion HUF losses were due to the decrease in import orders – Csorbai Attila, CEO of the Poultry Product Council (BTT) told Világgazdaság.
