The World Day of Bread is held today
On the World Day of Bread we remember to those people who do not get bread, and hungry, so every year we draw attention of the society with charitable bread donations every year that it is good to donate – Septe József president of the Hungarian Bakers’ Association.
The Swiss-based World Federation of Bakers decided at its congress in 2001that 16 October to be declared as the World Day of Bread. The World Day is designed to present the importance of the world’s most important food product; the bread. The world day is celebrated by nearly 30 countries already withy charity actions, because on this day the bakers help those in need with donations.
