The collection of school supplies at Auchan starts today
Today, the National Association of Large Families (NOE) and Auchan start their joint school supplies collection campaign in the forecourts of department stores, which will last until August 27. For more than two weeks, you can drop off extra school supplies at the collection points that NOE delivers to families with several children who have more trouble starting school. Every department store takes part in the now traditional Auchan charity campaign, and the offered school supplies are waiting everywhere.
For the sixth time this year, Auchan is organizing a collection of school supplies for large families. Last year, with the help of NOE, they were able to deliver 9,600 packages to parents who would have had serious financial problems in purchasing school equipment. Thanks to the social sensitivity of Auchan customers, children in 2,750 large families were able to start the school year last year without having to start at a disadvantage because they lacked some school supplies.
Even now, the department store chain is asking its customers to buy one or two more school supplies and drop them off at the collection points at the exit. Even though the majority of Auchan’s uniquely rich range of school supplies is no more expensive than last year, and 400 products have even become cheaper, the start of the school year still puts a strain on the family coffers, especially where there are several school-age children.
