The biogas plant in Szarvas handed over today
The country's largest and most advanced biogas plant handed over today in Szarvas. The project costs about 4.5 billion HUF, of which 500 million came from EU funding.
The facility is a 4.17 MW power plant consists of four gas engines, which will produce an annual 27.6 million kw / hours by burning methane from agricultural and food waste. This is the entire energy consumption of a city with a population of 18-20 thousand. The investor is the first Aufwind Schmack First Biogas Ltd., which is 100 percent owned by the German Aufwind – reports Világgazdaság Online.
