L’Oréal improves the environmental profile of products
The world’s leading cosmetics company, L’Oréal will improve the environmental or social profile of all of their products by 2020 – announced the cosmetic product giant in a press statement on 22 May. The document highlights the fact that 54 percent of product components (there are 1,540 ingredients from 350 plant varieties) used by L’Oréal come from renewable sources, mostly from plant origin. Green chemistry components make up for 17 percent of ingredients used. //
