Magazine: Stolen development
Chefs do not like to be accused of recipe plagiarism. A London couple is not afraid of this: since March, they have been organising supper club events, named ‘Stolen’, every Monday evening in Notting Hill. They always offer one menu that they ‘brought’ from somewhere – they indicate the source on the website of the Stolen project and on their Facebook profile. The organisers, who simply call themselves Bonnie and Clyde, serve their small group of guests fine dining meals at the rather moderate price of GBP 25-45 (one drink included). Further drinks can be ordered and the couple supports the BYOB system too. What do the victims of ‘stealth’ think? Well, great chefs would not mind it.
