London Analysts: on a National Economy level weekly shopping expenditure increased with ten-millions due to the extreme weather
London’s financial analysts expect that the extreme weather of recent months is likely to increase the weekly shopping costs with tens of millions of pounds on a National Economy level.
According to the study of Centre for Economics and Business Research (CEBR) published on Monday, Britain has experienced one of the hottest and driest summers of all time this year. The daily average temperatures have exceeded the long-term average since April, and in some parts of the country there was no rain for more than fifty days. (MTI, Kertész Róbert)
