Lidl builds a giant warehouse
Lidl announced a plan to build a warehouse of nearly 93,000 square meters in the UK. If the facility is ready, it will double the size of the company’s warehouse space within the country – origo wrote.
Lidl will also sell food, household and other retail products from its new warehouse – the Independent reports. The investment will be implemented near Luton and according to the company, it can create up to a thousand jobs. The German chain also announced that it will open five new units in London. (origo)
