Lidl promotes Hungarian apple
Lidl also joined the Ministry of Agriculture and FruitVeB’s joint campaign to promote Hungarian apple. At a promotional event, held on 2 October in the Huszti Road Lidl store in Budapest, Jenő Grósz, chairman of the board of directors of Lidl Hungary told that last season they sold 4,000 tons of Hungarian apple and this year they plan to sell 5,000 tons. They will also sell 600 tons through Lidl stores abroad.
