Goose dishes can be tasted at the Gastro Festival in Balatonfüred on the second weekend of November
Visitors of the Gastro Festival in Balatonfüred will be able to choose from a selection of restaurants and wineries around Lake Balaton on the second weekend of November, when visitors will be greeted with colorful cultural programs in addition to evoking St. Martin’s Day goose tradition.
Böröcz István, president of the Balatonfüred Tourism Association, said that fifteen wineries and restaurants will offer their specialties on 9 and 10 November. Along with dishes made from geese, the Rizling Generation Association, a group of young winemakers from the Lake Balaton region, offers wines, especially new wines, in connection with the tradition of St. Martin’s Day.
