The collection of school supplies at Auchan has ended
The school year has started, and 10,200 children were able to start it with appropriate equipment thanks to the collection of Auchan and the National Association of Large Families (NOE). This year, customers donated more than last year, so their social sensitivity solved the financial difficulties of buying school supplies in 3,000 large families. In addition to the material help, it is of inestimable value that these children will not fall behind in their studies due to the lack of school equipment.
Auchan is organizing a school supplies collection for the sixth time in August, this time all twenty-four stores participated in the charity campaign. It is also a tradition that the collection is organized with the National Association of Large Families, and they deliver the packages to those families with several children who would not be able to buy the school supplies necessary for learning.
This year, compared to last year, more donations were collected, then they were able to put together 9,600 packages, now 10,200 children received equipment from the 120,000 school supplies, thus the insoluble problem of starting school was lifted from the shoulders of 3,000 large families.
Of course, the start of the school year puts a strain on family coffers everywhere, which is why Auchan would like to thank its customers for offering 120,000 school supplies to needy children in just over two weeks. The company also supports the association with an additional HUF 1 million.
