Hungary’s only duty free zone was established in Záhony
The Association of Hungarian Logistics Service Centers (MLSZKSZ) welcomes that the Ministry of National Economy (NGM) designated a 17,400 square meter duty free zone in Záhony’s Free Business Zone.
As a result of the permit, the country’s only duty free zone was established, which can significantly boost the region’s ability to attract industry and allows Záhony to become the international trade and logistics junction of the region.
The owner of the area, the Záhony-Port Zrt. applied for the license at the Ministry of National Economy at the initiative of the MLSZKSZ.
