Exports to the Polish market of agricultural products grew by 22,4 per cent. Our export of EUR 152 million was composed of diverse products. The most significant item among these was coffee and tea, which accounted for revenues of EUR 30,7 million, while exports of vegetables and wheat were also substantial. Exports of wine, ice cream, coffee, corn and poultry doubled in 2006. Some less significant products showed remarkable expansion, like lactose (1400 per cent), sugar (800 per cent). Imports of agricultural products from Poland grew by nearly 23 per cent in 2006. The value of total imports was more than double of our export to Poland with EUR 356 million, which makes Poland our second biggest supplier of agricultural products. Imports of live swine increased 10 times compared to 2005. Imports of animal fodder doubled, while that of cheese and curd grew by 50 per cent.
