The Polish president signed the law restricting the shops to open on Sundays
On Tuesday, the Polish President Andrzej Duda signed the law restricting the opening hours on Sundays.
The law enters into force on 1 March. The stores have to be closed twice a month on Sundays. From 2019 store closure would be extended to three times a month, while the full Sunday closing will be in effect from January 2020.
The law does not apply to internet shops. (Lucie Szymanowska, MTI)
