Starting it early enough
Creative chef Tamás Stiller started his Kindergarten Garden project in 2011 and financed it himself for years. The programme is teaching the little ones how to grow fruits and vegetables. So far 2,000 kindergarten children have participated in the programme in the Heves County region. Since 2015 the county assembly, certain foundations and a couple of famous people have also been supporting the good cause. Recently Mr Stiller has asked the Guild of Hungarian Restaurateurs (MVI) to help him lobby for gardening to become part of the trade education curriculum. //
