The hottest retailers of 2015

In the August issue of STORES Magazine (USA) the Kantar Retail HOT 100 Retailers 2015 list was published. This is the ranking of the most creative and innovative, trendsetting retailers. The top 5 are hardly known in Hungary (1. Hudson’s Bay, 2. Choxi.com, 3. Zulily, 4. G-III Apparel Group, 5. Wayfair). In the 7th place we find Office Depot and in the 13th there is H&M; Amazon is 18th and Wal-Mart didn’t even make it into the top 100. It is noteworthy that a traditional department store chain, Hudson’s Bay is at the top of the list. Half of the list is supermarkets (especially those focusing on organic food and ethnic cuisine) and trendy fashion stores. There are many leisure, sport and garden-themed stores as well. n
