Women use more desodors

According to Nielsen research company the Hungarian desodor market grow in value by 12, in volume by 9% between March 2007- February 2008.

 

The whole market was bigger than HUF 14
billion, from it 54% products for women, 43% for men and 3% unisex or
teenager products. The most popular is the aerosol 51%, stifts has
19%, roll on 18% market share. The price increased at aerosol
desodors by 2%, at stifts by 3%.

The most important retail chanels are
the hypermarkets (41%) and drogeries (34%).  Privat label has only 5-7% market
share.
