The government would direct 100 billion HUF to the development of the Tokaj-Hegyalja wine region
The government's aim is to direct about 100 billion HUF between 2014 and 2020 to the development of the Tokaj-Hegyalja wine region. The local governments and the local farmers can use this amount – Lázár János announced on Wednesday in Mád, Borsod-Abaúj-Zemplén county.
According to the informations of Lázár János, Minister of State for the Prime Ministrer’s Office, 27 local governments and the local wine producers of the historic wine region will be able to use the sources, through the Wine Region-Tokaj-Hegyalja Development Program, thus creating significant improvements in the quality of life in the region.
