Salmon farm is being built in Hungary

The first salmon farm in the region can be realized from about 8.4 billion forints in Zalaegerszeg – napi.hu wrote. Construction is scheduled to begin next year, with the first harvest to take place in 2024. The founder of the state-of-the-art fish farm is Zalmon Kft.

For the first time in the region, a high-tech terrestrial salmon farm in Zalaegerszeg could be built out of about 8.4 billion. The Hungarian Fisheries Management Operational Program (MAHOP) provides about 3 billion HUF for the investment from the European Union funds available to Hungary.
