Economic growth slowed down in the OECD countries
The quarterly rate of economic growth in the member states of the Organization for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD) slowed in July-September.
In the 35 member states of the OECD countries, the quarterly comparison of the gross domestic product (GDP) increased by 0.6 percent in July-September, compared with the 0.8 percent measured in the second quarter, according to preliminary data published on Monday on OECD’s website.
In the European Union and in the euro area, the rate of growth declined slightly, from 0.7 percent to 0.6 percent. (MTI)
